No. We professionally use 5mm+6A+5mm double glass. Our double glazed units are manufactured to prevent steam or fogginess between the panes.

Is the glass prone to breaking without reason?
The tempered glass is highly durable and will only break if suffering from a significant impact force; it will not break on its own.
